Poenix was this past weekends destination. We saw Cody's house in the "ghetto"and went to Ikea for the first time!!! It was cool, but Gimpy ( Ashley) was like running through there, so I didnt have a chance to enjoy it... :( So then we went to the mall, where Ashley showed me the Rainforest Cafe. As fun as it was, we didnt get to sit by the elephant which was sad. We went to Neiman Marcus and she tried on a $15,000 Oscar DeLarenta dress. As ugly as it was, it was still a pretty penny! Then we went and tried on tons of wedding dresses. Ashley was the bride and I was the maid of honor. Save the date for October 9,2010!!! Haha it was a fun day! So we left on Sunday night, and when we got home, Ashley's leg was hurting super bad. ER here we come!! They ended up keeping her and doing x-rays and ultrasounds and lab work...Then they finally admited her to a room. I was sooo tired... So she stayed in there for 2 days and was discharged yesterday, right as Yo Yo and Gam Gam arrived! Perect timing eh!!

So here I am, no longer sleep deprived and bored out of my mind at work! Ashley is fine and back to her usual self. We are thankful that the Lord was watching over her and gave her the strength to become well again.

Highway 191

On my way home from Farmington, which is where I was for spring break, I decided to take a new route through Gallup! So I stayed the night at the Hampton and spoiled myself. The next morning I woke up to thunder and snow...yeah I know weird combo right! So I hurry and pack my bags and check out of my room, then after loading my stuff in a the car during this little snow storm, I get into the car and...it stops. Just like someone flipped a switch!

So I drive and drive and get to Alpine or some cute little town at the base of the mountains. There is a big electronic sign that says ROAD CLOSED 25 MILES AHEAD. Aww I'm a Montana girl, the snow won't be that bad. So I drive the 25 miles and sure enough there is a sign that says road closed. I stop at the lodge and ask if there is another way to Safford or if the road will be open anytime soon. The lady tells me to just go ahead because people have been coming through all week long. A free coffee later and I am on my way! The road isnt bad at first. Long story short, I end up going through a blizzard, heavy heavy fog, and a rock slide. Yeah! I said rock slide!!! So there I am in the middle of no where throwing rocks off the side of the mountain which is a cliff and I am scared to death that another rock slide will happen or I will run off the mountain and plummet to my death!!!

Like 12 hours later I make it to the Morenci Mine. I think the trip is over. WRONG!!! I have to drive all the way around the mine and it takes FOREVER...I am pissed at this point and just want to be back in Thatcher. Ugh...So finally I make it home!!! I walk into my house and tell my Uncle Dick EVERYTHING that has happend in like .5 seconds because I had to pee and wanted to go to sleep. I unpack then want to go to a movie...instead...I crash and sleep for forever.

Moral Of the story: Never take Highway 191 unless you want to commit suicide...By the time I was done driving that road, I was suicidal and not a happy camper!!!

First day of spring break...

So my first day of spring break was a pretty good one! Ashley, Carleigh, Cate and myself arrived to the 505 at around idk maybe between 12am and 1 am! Very exciting car ride! It included everything from losing a cell phone twelve minutes into the trip all the way to a soda (ginger ale) EXLPODING because a licorice was dropped into it...can you say sticky (thats what she said...SHUT UP FASTLE!!!)

So this morning I woke up to Miranda saying she was going to punch Ashley in the throat because she was loud when telling her dog she wanted to marry it...yeah...So we all got ready, then Ashley, Miranda and I went to Target where we enjoyed shopping for clothes and make up and just looking around at everything without buying any of it..I ended up with a bottle of cover up and wrappping paper...great combo I know!

After we dropped Mirand off, Ashley and I went to the Natural Museum of History...AWESOME!!! We had fun...Then we went back to her house and napped!

Since tomorrow is Yolanda's (mama fastle) and my birthday we went to Fudruckers for dinner...Yummylicious food and a surprise birthday song. The WHOLE restaraunt was singing to us so we could get out brownies! Then we walked around the mall and ended up driving somewhere in this crazy town and "decorated" some kid's house...Exchanged gifts with Yo yo (her reaction was not as hooker face had and I had anticipated). So now, here I am listening to Ashley download her country songs. Whoop dee doo! Super Tired and hoping to get sleep soon!

OOOH I got a new ring too! And the present I got was the Carrie Underwood CD!! Yay!! We gave Yo Yo an old antique sewing machine...we thought she would enjoy it...We guessed wrong!!

Ode to Ashley Fastle

Oh how I enjoy sitting here annoying Ashley Fastle. I was going to write her a beautifu poem about the joys of annoying her. A rhyme or riddle really. She wanted no such thing. She threw a fit that a young child of 2 would throw for not getting his, yes his sweets at the market. Im sorry Ashley...But no means no... Wait what? Nobody said no!
Oh how I love to get a rise out of her. It is the highlight of my day most days. It's very enjoyable to watch her reactions. Hilarious. And so the journey continues. We shall continue to be BFFOGC (best friends of graham county). A little ridiculous and bad judgement on my part, but hey what can I say other than life's a heffalump.

COUNTDOWN 10 DAYS

So, my birthday is in 10 days! And you may all be asking yourselves...is Ashley Fastle throwing Tara a party..answer HECK YES!!! I know its supposed to be a "surprise" so I will act surprised when I show up! If any of you want to get me a present feel free to! I accept all forms of cash...and shoes!!
