On Monday, Ashley, Brittany and myself went to the LDS Gila Valley Temple. We had to park forever away, but that didn't matter. We were really excited. Some more than others. Ashley was practically sprinting to the temple doors, only to be told we had to go watch the movie first and be a part of a tour group. So we watched a 12 minute video and proceeded to see one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I totally know what people mean when they say that it is Heaven on Earth.Wednesday, April 28, 2010

Obsessed

Thank you Brittany Black.
(insert sarcasm here)
You have me completely 110% obsessed with the Twilight Saga Books! It took me a week to finish Twilight, four days to finish New Moon, and two days, TWO DAYS, to finish Eclipse. I am slowing myself down on the last book, Breaking Dawn, to make it last a little longer. I also figured I should start studying a little more considering finals are coming up!
I find it absolutely ridiculous how obsessed I am with these books. I have a very good imagination. So when I read a book, it's like a movie playing in my head. And because there are already movies out, I can imagine the characters that much better. It gets annoying sometimes, because I am consumed with it and cannot wait until I get done with my classes and studying so I can curl up and read the book!
I promised myself that I would not end up as one of those stupid girls who are totally in aww of it...well I am here to sadly proclaim...
I'M A TWILIGHT FAN!!
Just go ahead and shoot me...

Yay for being Catholic! lol
April 11, 2010 I was received my Holy Communion and Confirmation at the St Rose of Lima Parish in Safford, AZ. My mom and dad flew down from Montana and spent the week with me! My brother, his fiance, Shelbi, and my nephew Westyn also came down from Aztec, NM. It was a great weekend. The best in fact!
For those of you who don't know, the Holy Communion, also known as the Eucharist, refer to both the celebration of the Eucharist Liturgy and the consecrated bread and wine, the body and blood of Christ. So in simpler terms, it is comminting yourself to the Church and being able to reviece the holy sacrament. Confirmation on the other hand, is a sacrament of mature Christian commitment and a deepening of baptismal gifts. Like Baptism and Eucharist, it is a Sacrament of Initiation and a Sacrament of faith in God's fidelity to us.
I didn't realize Dustin was taking pictures!
