He was there when I was born,
He was there to put a band-aid on my scraped knee,
He was there teaching me how to cowgirl up,
He was there on my first and last day of school,
He was there for my first broken heart,
He was there in the rear view mirror as I left for college,
He will be there to walk me down the aisle,
He will be there to welcome my children into the world,
He will be there forever and always,
He will always be my one and only,
He will always be my daddy!
